Material and vendor sourcing

Developing products that you and your patients can count on begins at the source—with our materials and our vendors. That is why we ensure all potential suppliers undergo an extensive sourcing program prior to consideration. Only when the material and supplier have successfully passed all of these evaluations will the raw material go into production. 

Qualification process

  • Supplier questionnaire

    Our raw materials undergo a rigorous qualification process that begins with a 16-page questionnaire covering topics ranging from ingredient testing to production methods. 

  • Supplier qualification

    Suppliers must also pass a thorough vetting process, which includes an assessment of their potential impact on the business, a regulatory review, and an evaluation of their quality systems. 

  • Quarantine and testing

    Materials from suppliers that pass the documentation review are quarantined for laboratory testing and formal qualification before entering production.

Advanced manufacturing and operational standards

At Integrative Therapeutics, we have built quality into every aspect of our business—from our facility, to our processes, to our people. We have earned our third-party Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification, which confirms that the facility complies with  dietary supplement GMP regulations. Our labels are accurate and every product we sell is consistent, batch to batch, bottle to bottle, and capsule to capsule. The end results are products you can trust.

Product testing

  • Sample protocol

    We receive, track, and review samples to ensure every product is tested properly  and that accurate data is available to release materials for production and sale. 

  • Analytical lab 

    We test for identity, potency, and contaminants using advanced techniques like HPTLC, HPLC, LC/MS/MS, and more.

  • Microbiology lab

    We test for harmful pathogens and measure potency of probiotics to confirm the number of live microorganisms. We use rapid test methods and traditional microbiological methods.

  • Physical lab

    Using sensory analysis and specialized instruments, we assess physical properties like color, appearance, and odor to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience. 

  • Stability protocol

    Evaluating product performance throughout its shelf life and conducting long-term stability testing provides data to support expiration dates, ensuring potency over time.
